He is above and beyond the team's standout player. During a "better" season, he'd be getting insane love from the media. Love watching a guy like that go to work when he could easily just phone it in.

I’m from that area and watched Devin play in high school. Guy is an all around good kid and obviously is very gifted. I played against him in basketball my senior year. He was a 7th grader starting on varsity.

Just keep at it and now Aranda knows what type of linebackers he needs at LSU. The smart, quick, tough type guys who have great character. Mental toughness is so key to football. Let's stack this team up with those guys, frick stars.

IMHO I've watched every LB that has come through LSU since the mid 90s. His performance tonight no matter what his official numbers are, may have been the best I've seen. 1 arm tackles, 2 shoulder tackles that fans thought should have been a horse collar penalty, to the fastest qb sack I can remember in a long time.
Not to mention his heart, and leadership on the field. He will be one of the best LSU LBs ever!!

Devin White was a monster today. Reminded me of some of the all time great LSU linebackers.
