I think you have to go with the most consistent guys. Like the guy above me said, Bradley/Altidore are complete locks to be starting in Russia. After that you get into guys like Fab, Cameron, and Brooks.

John Brooks. Work class center back makes our D passable

Argument I'd make is Howard.
Was having this convo with Mobile AO during the match.

I think I would probably still say Jozy.

He's brilliant. We're in for a treat with young Pulisic, eh? Lad is in top form and his bullocks have barely dropped.

Yedlin. The gap between him and his backup is massive. He locks down a side and can add to the attack.

HAs to be someone on the defense. Don’t know who it is, but it sure as frick isn’t Omar Gonzalez. He’s a trash player, and the Day the usmnt drops him is the day they get a little bit better. I despise watching him fumble around the back with besler.

Altidor, when wood and/or pulisic are able to feast off his holdup play. It doesnt work with just him and clint anymore.
Yedlin a close second.

Yep, if soccer had a WAR rating like baseball, Yedlin's would be huge.

Until someone starts being clutch like Dempsey, him. Hasn't been lately, but he can pull the rabbit out the hat. Will be sad to see him go when the time comes.

Yedlin is only 7th or 8th best but everyone else has serviceable backups.

I would argue that Bradley does not have a serviceable backup...yet but the distance between his backup and Yedlin to Zusi can't have that much of a separation.
