If it weren't a company mandated iPhone, I would give the S8 a go...

Been an apple user all my life and I hate to say it, but I agree with you.

It would take a lot for me to switch over to a piece of shite Android.
I usually just wait a month to update so they worked out the bugs.

anyone noticed with some of your newer contacts, when they text you, I see the contact name but when I go through my texts only the phone number appears

I never seem to have many problems. Try upgrading your pos phone or getting it fixed/replaced

There are issues with the ios .1 of every version.
I always wait a few weeks before updating.

This thing has been pissing me off long before the 11 update...although iOS 11 is pushing me over the edge.

I've gotten multiple new devices from our IT guy...have the 7S now. And I don't abuse my phones or keep a billion apps open like the ladies do...
iOS is in decline.

What's wrong with it?
I'm on 11 and haven't had any issues yet

Sounds like there may be an issue with whatever phone he’s giving you or the cell provider. I’ve had zero issues with the new OS, and haven’t heard of any big issues with anyone else.

dealing with the wifi issue where if you turn off your wifi it still shows up

What pisses me off is the continual effort to make every fricking app communicate and share information. That's fine if you want that but there should be a base iOS version for people that just want their phone to make calls, text and surf the web and run fast.

there are a lot of issues. just do a simple google search. i realize you personally are not having any issues but they exist for a lot of people.

So, How old are you then?
They've been making phones using parts from other manufacturers for ten years in China. Kind of a Frankenstein phone. It's their OS thou. So there's that.

It's not totally dysfunctional, however, the core apps of iOS freeze on occasion...the phone app for example...was trying to respond to a client's voicemail and every screen was white. Rebooted a couple times and it is good now.
I've been an iPhone user since the 4 and have never experienced this level of glitchyness.
