Orgeron is wrong to EVER tamper with the offense IMO

First off, I do not think the offense I have seen this season is what Canada really wants to do. I think he's been meddling the whole time, but stopping the shifts was clearly a horrible idea, as it got us no first half points against Troy State. Orgeron said he would stay out of the way, and so far, he is violating his promise there.
Canada's entire offense is based on the shifts and motions. Let him do it. Will the offense really work in this league? I think it can with the right personnel...they beat Clemson last year and put up 43. Canada's offensive knowledge far surpasses that of O, and O may be higher up in the coaching chain (inexplicably), but he has no business telling Canada what to do. Orgeron is a defensive line coach, not an offensive coordinator and surely not a head coach.

You are wrong for sure on one thing. O is in charge. He can decide to get involved. Im not saying its a good thing.
To say the head coach shouldn't affect the offense lol. Input game planning etc. Cmon

Seriously what the hell does he know about running an offense? He needs to stay as far away as possible

And created additional pressure on himself in the process.

While O meddling with the offense isn't a good idea. Hiring a HC who you don't trust to meddle in the schematics of your gameplan is an even worse idea.

I agree that Orgeron needs to let Canada do his job and stay out of it...especially at this early stage. It's ridiculous to hire a guy and then step in 4 games into the season.
Having said that, Ensminger is surely in Orgeron's ear. If Orgeron is concerned, you can be assured that Ensminger is concerned. That's just another problem. When the coordinator doesn't have support of his offensive staff, it's very hard to do the job.

Your opinion sucks. He is head coach. His team

Canada is nothing more than a middle of the road OC. GO check out his entire history of production as an OC. Except for 2 years, middle to bottom half of NCAA offenses over the last 10 years.
So we make hire an OC based on a one game against Clemson and a head coach from a binder?

While a lot of people agree with you, they are the same people who said he is the head coach and should step in and make adjustments. So don't ever rely on message boards to make decisions.

One thing I wonder about on offense is the hold overs from previous staff. Are Esminger and Grimes fully on board with Canada or are they possibly hampering him? I would’ve thought that someone like Canada would’ve wanted to hire his own assistants like an offensive line coach or receiver/tight end coach.
