O is not getting fired this year no matter what. Have patience guys he will get himself fired eventually. I go into every game thinking and wanting LSU to win. A coach will or will not eventually get himself fired on his own no point in me being miserable hoping my favorite team loses in the process.

I downvoted because anyone wanting LSU to lose for any reason isn't a true fan.

Utter and complete nonsense. There are absolutely times when a fan should want their team to lose, for the long term betterment of the program.

Are there seriously true LSU fans out there that want the tigers to lose? Seriously?

Yes, there are many of us.. Without purple and gold glasses, we can see what's occurring and are willing to endure short term pain for long term gain.

When I knew Miles was dragging us down, and Johnny Jones too, I wanted them to lose so they got fired faster, so we could right the ship more quickly.

Wanting the wrong coach to linger for more years does far more harm to the program than a few extra losses in a given year.

If it gets rid of Alleva then I can see the rationale. Otherwise I’m not in favor of wishing my team losses.

Who ever wants their team to lose? I want O to suddenly figure out how to win the rest of the games.

I've never cheered against LSU but I will admit that at the time I would have rathered us to lose against A&M the past two years.

I always hope for a win.

I just have not seen anything that makes me think we have a prayer of winning. Expecting, unfortunately, a double digit loss.

win just enough games for O to keep his job year over year

He's not going to be able to hang on like Miles did. There is way too much negativity towards him and he has zero good will in the bank.

How else do you get rid of him then if not from losing games?

Well, I mean, if he's not losing games, why would we need to get rid of him?

Obviously, there's like a .01% chance he gets us where we want (competing for championships), but he has been hoping and praying a lot apparently, so I wouldn't completely rule out divine intervention turning this team around. It doesn't look good and I'm pretty much completely done with him after throwing Canada, Brosette and the kickers under the bus, but wins can mend that fence.

He's not going to be fired this year anyway. Next year, our schedule is brutal. If we're a train wreck again next year, he's probably gone. If we're looking competitive, I think he gets another year. If we're not seriously competing for the SEC in his third year, I think he's definitely gone.

The team is going to a rough spell. I’m a fan of the team. Why in the hell would I ever want my team to suffer more that it already is?

Hard-ball fans - Whatever it takes to get JA and CEO gone from LSU.

Sentimental softies - Oh, LSU. Win the game. Even if that might lead to JA and CEO staying longer at LSU.

Choose one.

Does it matter what any fan hopes or prays for ?

Fix the problems, our problem is our AD is hoping and praying when he hires people that they work out. Our best chance now is if O misses the flight
