Adding leather seats to a vehicle

Assuming I select a reputable installer, anything to watch out for?
For after-market installs, is there a particular manufacturer of leather that is better than the other?
FWIW, this appears to be a better and less expensive option that buying from the dealership.
Thoughts?

OT doesn't buy vehicles that have cloth as an option

The vinyl leather is cheaper, but it holds up just as well. I had it added to two of my vehicles when I purchased them. Was only like an additional $800

I used Classic Soft Trim to put leather in my truck. Look exactly like the factory leather.
A friend of mine used Katzkin and he is also extremely happy.
I think they both have franchises or authorized dealers but their prepackaged leather sets fit perfectly.

Katzkins.
Buy on eBay and install yourself if you don't mind cussing
Call local retailer that can do it for u.
DON'T buy straight from website. Those prices are absurd. 1k after install (front and back seats) at a place I'm about to visit.

What should something like this run?
Assuming driver and front passenger seat and bench seat in back (truck).

I prefer katskin to import leather. I like domestic leather.
Toyota with katzkin for me.

There are different qualities. A good shop will have samples. Beware if the price is too cheap, it may be synth leather.
I used Lionel's in Kenner.

A lot of dealers that adds leather as a dealer option just use katzkin.

I had Katzkin installed in my Yukon. They are nice but wife has factory leather in her 4 Runner and the leather is nicer.

How much more will it cost to go all out and curb feelers and a chain steering wheel?

katzskin covers are very very nice. $1100 for a crew cab truck installed.

You can order the entire "kit" for your vehicle from a place like Katskinz. They have wizards on the site to select from a wide array of options. Took me about 4 hours to do my crew cab truck. It's pretty simple.

I bought a new XLT F150 and leather wasn't an option on it for my work truck so I got them to have Katzkin aftermarket installed and it looks great. It fits very well and actually looks as good as the OEM leather in my Lariat.
