If you took a DNA test that revealed you were actually another race what would you do?

It'd be interesting to not be white since I'm blonde with blue eyes.

I'm in the race of Christians; DNA can't change or test that.

My neighbor got his test results and said, “Well, looks like I have a woodpile to burn.”

I'd go get a bunch of scholarships and apply for a lot of jobs I'm completely unqualified for.

Not much I could do.
Nobody would believe that I'm not a straight up cracker.

I know some Italians that found out they were more Greek than Italian. One is extremely not happy.
I know a lady in her 80s who has gone through life thinking she was primarily Irish, with some French and a little German mixed in. She did not take the news about her Greek blood very well. As a matter of fact, she refuses to believe it's true and wants her money back.
Of course, in her youth she was a 5'-11" green eyed blonde, which doesn't sound very Greek to me. So maybe she has a point.

I would embrace the new race

I don't know why anyone would give a shite. It's interesting but nothing to be mad about.

She's a relative of mine and it just makes me want to get tested. I thought her reaction was kind of comical, but she has gone through life "knowing" her heritage, so this was a surprise for her.
Her mother's side of the family has been well researched by several of our mutual relatives. We're all Irish, with some German mixed in to make our heads harder. I'm not so sure about her father's side. He has a very common (stereotypical, really) south LA surname, so research might be a little trickier.
