in terms of the SEC, we've been every so slightly above middle of the pack for years.
I was hoping for different this year based on a marginally improved offense. It's not, at least not yet. However, the lines in-place suck. WRs look like freshmen 85% of the plays. And D is crapping the bed from a myriad of issues at one time.
That being said, I've seen this team/staff quit on the field while a game was still going on, lack of preparedness, a freshmen guard playing OT while a freshmen OT was still on the bench, and a lack of leadership all the way around.
The trajectory right now is definitively NOT middle of the pack. Color me "not THAT surprised" and at the same time pissed off as hell.

Look, I never said O was the greatest of greats. I only said these players, as a complete team, are only a shell of what you thought they were.
With Saba n coaching this team, they are 5-5 talent. When you are getting arse raped in the trenches on both sides of the ball, it doesn't matter who is qb or rb or db....you lose, period. There are no "adjustments" to hide that.

I hated the call but I saw a coach trying to create a spark and thinking his D had finally stiffened up a bit and could stop them.
Again, and again, and again....if your OL and DL is getting owned all night, you'll lose to less talented teams
