Devin is the only one showing it and saying it! The man just called out his defense bro!

He deserves criticism as well, but he has proven he can get it done.

I am not ready to toss him out, but he better step up. There seems to be no hope for O and some of these players though.

Who the for defended orgeron? He is not nor was he ever my boy. He gets an f grade so far. My point is that aranda is getting paid a lot of money to put an unprepared defense on the field...but the O hate by people like you is so bad that you literally give aranda a pass

Half the time, it seems like White is pushing guys into position or signaling for them to get in position as the ball is being snapped.

Weird. Last year the talk was they were watching more film than under Miles.

Supposed to watch and actually watching are two different things. I can just see today's kids/players sitting in the film room but looking at their phone the whole time.

This is one of the [many] missing pieces. Leadership from the vet players. He's been doing it. Continues to do it. They are your defensive teammates. Call them out!

Now, Aranda and CEO just need to back him with some follow through. D White calls you out... you drill extra. Jackson points out you were out of position, all the DBs get extra time with Raymond.

That's how these things HAVE to go.

Devin White is Orgeron's new Patrick Willis.

This is on the coaches. Any good coach takes the bull by the horn and makes the kids play HARD. If not, play other ones until u find TWENTY TWO!! Tell Key and Guice (suffering from the fournette syndrome) we'll make sure you're healthy....stay at home. That was the start of this bs all summer until now. If yr is lost(and it is) then this HAS to change, or it will be the same next year!!!

The fk? I've said over and over I was against the hire, but willing to give the guy a chance and not spend 24/7 on here bashing the guy like you. You have some issues. Just because some of us choose not to bash him daily doesn't mean we wanted him as coach.

Aranda himself said he hasn't focused on scheme as much as last year which is troubling because this D has alot of new faces

What Aranda was saying by this was because of all the youth that is playing this season, he is having to teach fundamentals and each position’s assignment and role. If they don’t understand those things, teaching scheme is useless. While the defense has been sucking, I give Dave Aranda the benefit of the doubt. His track record speaks for itself. O, on the other hand cannot say the same thing.

For the second week in a row, he said the team came out not ready to play and that guys are not spending enough time watching film.

Orgeron's shtick brought energy to the team last year.

Now its just old and boring. There's only so much "yaw yaw" they can take until they realize the man has no clue what he's doing.

First, some pretty mature comments from a young man.

Second, it is obvious that he is committed to the success, although it is apparent he is in a distinct minority.

Third, his frustration with the others shows.

Wish we had a few more like him.

Troy WR's and RB's were 3-4 steps into their move before any LSU LBer or DB could even move any direction at times. It was awful. Really looked 2008 bad on defense.

This will essentially kill recruiting. No top rated player will want to play for LSU and we'll become the bottom-feeders of the west for the next 3-5 years.

We're now the guaranteed 'W' on an opponent's schedule.

Can't even beat Troy. Let that sink in. fricking Troy.

I said this last night in 1 of the million threads.

Both the offense and defense seemed ill prepaired to play again.

When the QB has to spend 5-10 sec finding the play on their wrist version of War and Peace, then read it, the play should not be called.

The defense just seems like they are in a walk through during the game.

I think they spend too much time talking about plays and not practicing.

Its my opinion that the coaching staff is depending on players to read the play book and watch film on their own and its not happening.

Im waiting on the annoucement that someone else will be handling play calling on offense for the Florida game.

And further evidence that O doesn't have a clue on how to manage a team.

What was the half time score the last time we played Troy? Who was the HC and DC?
How long had the HC been at LSU?

Wait is it O's fault defensive players aren't watching enough film or Aranda?
