It's not just color of skin and is repeatable across multiple studies with scientific control methods. It is not that hard to understand, you see it every day in practice.

Sure, but that doesn't mean that IQ isn't an incredibly significant factor in scoring.

I believe this to be true. No surprise that low income households score lower on tests than households that can afford a parent at home to supervise homework and studying or a tutor for subjects not mastered in class.
2 parent households and a culture of demanding success also have a huge impact. The question is how to help students without these advantages do better.

No you are wrong. Even when adopted by upper class whites who have biological children and have equal resources, blacks lag behind the lowest economic group of white children.

The reason that gaps exist in test scores (achievement)...not IQ.
IS BECAUSE..
Different demographics (races) have very different IQs.
Therefore, throwing money at lower demographic groups will not improve their achievement test scores.
BECAUSE...
It does not change their IQ.

When you guys make threads wondering why more successful black folks still don't vote conservative...This is why. No one is going to willfully stand shoulder to shoulder with a political group that has so many members that actually believe minorities are intellectually hard-coded to be inferior.
Your beliefs are your own and you have a right to your opinion. But its pretty disingenuous for you guys to wonder aloud why black folks are generally uninterested in aligning themselves politically with conservatives...even when an upper class minority would benefit from their tax policies.

Studies like that don't prove anything. They simply build confidence. I'd like to hear more about these studies. How old were the kids when they were adopted?
