Football teams are in cities. In cities people are more educated and have more exposure to a diverse group of individuals. It's a lot easier to hate on people that you never really interact with.

Bigotry based on where people live really is no different than bigotry based on race or religion.

The well-educated in cities typically live in a much more secure bubble than anyone in rural areas. I get such a laugh from my NY and SF friends who preach about diversity, yet live in a whiter part of town than I could find anywhere in Alabama and send their children to 30k a year fricking pre-K schools.

It's easy to hate people you interact with on a daily basis. Much easier actually.

Have you ever driven in traffic????

It's funny to watch you try and pretend like your conclusions are backed up by research and studies while you ignore potential inconvenient variables.

And I would say it's actually easier to hate people you DO interact with.

I probably interact with more black and mexican people in a day in my little southern town than the avg ultra lib educated New Yorker or person from San Fran does in a week.

Republicans are more likely to have a college degree.

The paying Saints fan base is not accurately represented in the graph.

This is ridiculous and shows you are sucked into the false narrative as well. Being republican does not mean you hate anyone or are any less exposed to anyone.

SF = 6% AA___Liberal
GB = 3% AA___Liberal

Houston = 25% AA__Conservative

Some of these liberal bubbles you speak of actually think less of AAs because they are not exposed to them, look at their logic behind voter ID issues. LINK.
And some of these conservative areas have much higher rates of interracial interactions between white/AAs without any incident whatsoever

Republican vs Democrat is fiscal in the vast majority of cases, trying to connect it to race is a strategy of the left to secure the minority vote. Nothing more nothing less.

There are racists in both parties, the majority of both parties are not racist

And also this study only interviewed like 2200 people, so they asked like 70 fans per franchise? Lol.
Not to mention the vast majority of NFL fans, left and right, are against disrespecting the flag and anthem as a way to protest.

Northern cities are as racially segregated as anywhere.

Go look at the population plots

Who's more educated, someone living in the 9th ward of New Orleans or someone living in Mandeville?
