Best game I've ever attended! I sat in NEZ with my brother and I'll never forget how loud it was

Eta: everyone went nuts when they announced that USC lost

I lost 6 years of my life from stress because of that game. So electric and loud that night. Best game I've ever been to

I'm still struck about the play calling in that game compared to the post-2008. We see a qb wham with the backup qb. We see a running game out of the shot gun. We see LSU manipulating the defense with their tight end to get a favorable matchup in a long d&d.

That was before Les Miles got broken for sure. A good reminder that he wasn't always what he became.

Because it hasn't been mentioned. IMO the most underrated game in Tiger Stadium history.

How about the beat down of Notre Dame in 1971 following the 3-0 shutout loss the year before?

If Les continued to coached that way, with cajones, he’d still have a job.

I remember at that game when the announcer said USC had lost. The crowd lost their freaking minds. We were playing to be number 1. I have never heard a sound that loud or intense before or since.

That 07 season was something else. The student section was rocking every game. Virginia Tech, South Carolina in the rain, Auburn, Florida. Oh my have times changed.

Was in the student section that night as well. I'd love to believe it's the best ever but I doubt many old timers would agree.

the others in my top 5 home games:

03 Georgia
07 Auburn
07 Arkansas
04 Oregon State

Gosh I miss these days so much. As fun as it was to watch the 2011 team because they were so good and talented, that 2007 season was my favorite year ever in college football. LSU had so many good games that year and college football as a whole was just insane that year.

Will never forget that Florida game. Wasn't at the game but I remember watching it from home and that final drive was insane plus USC losing that night was awesome!

I hope for days like this one again very soon because it sucks watching our talented team struggle
