Powder day in the Boat! 5" reported but it was wind loaded to a foot up top. Morningside was closed so we hiked to top from Storm Peak Express and for first tracks down East Face, 2nd pitch, down into Endless Gully in Fish Creek Canyon.
Two hour lap once we got of the lift, but all the side stepping and hiking was so worth it. Earned the deep turns today!
My roommate entering the White Room. Whoever said "no friends on a powder day" has obviously never had the pleasure of skiing powder with good friends. Life's most treasured moments.

Wasatch resorts strong as frick yesterday & today.
Blue bird quad-deep powder day would have been cooler than having to work today.

All of the west, save Colorado, did pretty damn good the past week and weekend it seemed. Jackson and Targhee looked impossibly deep. Same with all the LCC and BCC resorts in the Wasatch. Tahoe and Mammoth were having huge in bounds avalanches rip to almost the ground.
Really crazy snow cycle this season.

Many of the Tahoe resorts were claiming 7'+
Better bring a few avalanche packs.

Crested Butte to be included on 2018-19 Epic. Vail is going to own every ski resort before I die.

What I would give to be in Tahoe for this storm. At least Snowshoe got 15 inches the two days I was there last week.

Hopefully y’all continue to get hammered, I’m trying to make it out in early April to spend a week or two skiing Steamboat & WP on that spring pass.

Nice. I'm done working at the ski shop on Sunday. I have a month funemployment gap until I start my new job in Jackson Hole. Gonna ski a LOT in April.
Powder is the best. But perfect spring corn and slush is a close second. And most times, April is filled with both.

Heading to WP on Saturday for a week with my two boys, nephew and brother in law. Love they are getting hit now to keep things nice and covered. Extended forecast looks promising as well.

I'm heading to WP middle of next week and the forecast looks great for the trip.
Just got back from a couple days in Banff and they got a solid 10" our first day on the slopes. Made for a lovely time.

Which mountains did you ski at Banff? Going to Sunshine and Louise for Easter weekend.

Another powder day in the Boat! Blue skies and a surfy 11" of pow up top!

In Tahoe now. Just skied two days with nine more to go. They’ve had a Miracle March and it’s been snowing all day including now.
I feel very lucky planning this trip late in the season after not much snow prior to March. Gonna ski Kirkwood at least one of not more days while here.
It’s gonna be awesome come Monday when there’s a lot fewer people on the mountains.

Weekday skiing is the good shite.

Yeah you really lucked out with that. Snow was bad this year until March and then it started snowing nonstop. Mammoth mountain got like 15 feet of snow this month alone.

Tahoe’s March has been something to envy. Unfortunately it looks like my season might be over as I just got a new job. Maybe I’ll get a few spring days in late April or May this year but I’m not holding my breath.
That’s okay though, it pays really well and I should be able to save up enough to spend next winter in the mountains. I’ll be living vicariously through y’all for the time being though

I only got to ski the sierras one day this season, unfortunately

I fly out for Beaver Creek, CO on Thursday. I was worried since it is going to be later in the season (I'm a ski noob so I really don't know if this is a problem or not), but it sounds like it's going to be good skiing conditions.

Camped out in my car on Red Mountain Pass between Ouray and Silverton. I bought the unguided spring pass for Silverton Mountain which includes this weekend and next. Should be a rowdy time at a very rowdy (backcountry) "resort".
