does the storm surge typically arrive mostly with the front of the eye? The lake has come up maybe a foot from noon until now.

The brunt of the surge comes with the brunt of the winds near the center. For the lake, East winds will pile up some water and then north winds will push it off the northshore at least.

Looks like it’s just two sections that are in the mandatory evac zone. Our tower isn’t in the zone.
