I think this team lacks toughness, endurance, and discipline and Guice has had poor running lanes as a result.
When he's in the game, all of the shifts and motions aren't tricking the defense and they're still keying in on him the entire time.
And he's not 100%.

He is a very good back if he gets some blocking. LF7 got stuffed every time LSU played 'Bama. It all starts in the trenches, but every coach understands this.

Leonard Fournette had a much easier time running the ball.
This offense, so far, has been easy to defend. Add in our lack luster line play and Guice is being touched 80% of the time in the backfield... Not even Leonard could explode out of that.
