It's certainly not great, but there is no denying there has been a surge of late
In late August, he was at 34-61 in gallup. Now, he's at 41-53 according to today's reading
The RCP avg has him at his best since March

Means he's really at 75%.

Yeah but polls are fake so, we just can't really believe anything right?

You can't get 3 out of 4 people to agree on the color of the sky let alone the POTUS.

So he received 46.1% of the popular vote and after a shitshow 9 months you think he's at 75% approval rating?
His approval rating will never be above 50%

With the Dem Skews and the silent majority he's comfortable at the moment. I was say he's looking at an easy win in 2020 if Dems continue the Russia narrative/ identity politics everyone is sick of. They did a peer group discussion about Trump last night on CBS I believe and those people were woke as frick except this one white girl that was pretending to cry every 10 seconds.

I would have to agree. Hilldawg's failed run for POTUS proves at a minimum that polls can certainly be suspect.

That's correct. His approval is actually better than the polls project.

Yes polls are shite
Making it doubly significant that they cannot be rigged to make him look worse
Good catch!

Yeah I doubt he ever breaks 50% but if he is in the mid to high 40s in 2020 he will win reelection easily.

Real approval is cut down the voting lines. There may be a few thousand Swing here and there, but overall, People are pretty divided along party lines on this one

Nope. He's still at 39.6% according to 538. Sad that you'd be bragging about 41%, although, that would be a red letter day for Trump.

Your optimism is cute.
I'm just curious- has any President with less than a 45% approval rating during his first term, ever been reelected?
