I was excited about CL coming back. He’s been one of our best producers on d-line the last few years and seemed to be a leader.

I haven’t seen production or leadership to this point. Maybe he’s lost something since the injury or maybe I’m just piling on at this point.

How does tRant think he has played?

He’s smaller. Doesn’t seem to be as good of a run stuffer but it’s hard to tell how good they are when they don’t have a rotation to give them a break

Sometimes he was the only dline man that played with his hand in the dirt. That's leadership.
Dude is giving tremendous effort, but has had to play out of position due to lack of tackles.

He and Gilmore have been average at best their whole career. Both seem like great humans and teammates. Just don't have the skill you need to be a dominant SEC dlineman.

He doesn't look very athletic, even against Syracuse.

My thought is you don't know much about watching the Dline or his role. He eats up blocks and is not getting blown off the ball he plays very sound technique.

He's solid. Not a difference maker, but you have to go pretty far down our list of problems to get to LaCouture.

He has great technique, he gets to the right place, he never misses a tackle, he covers his gap. He's just not fast enough to keep up.

He's a body...which we sorely need. So, him coming back has been a positive.

He's not making any plays though.
