You can support the military and kneel. You're supporting their sacrifice for the right to kneel. How DJ people not grasp this?

Veterans and the Military should tell the NFL to go frick itself!

Their protest is against rogue cops and the judicial system that doesn't prosecute them. Not the military or veterans.
#1 There is no one knighting for rogue cops and a corrupt judicial system. It is universally accepted that the group is horrible.
#2 The whole movement stereotypes the judicial system and cops as a Racist group. It is clearly stated on the BLM site which is where it all spawned from. Again this is why people are disturbed by their movement and people in politics and power vindicating this generalized view of law enforcement such as Obama, JBE, celebrities, etc. is divisive and bad for our country.
#3 Clearly acknowledging these athletes in the spotlight should not be praised for trying to undermine national unity for a completely ridiculous premise is not the divisive action.

How? Because you don't have a picture? It's still the National Anthem.

Maybe, but armed services fight for what the American flag stands for while the kneelers think the flag stands for racial oppression.

I served, did 3 tours in the shite hole Middle East, lost Soldiers and I don't give a damn if someone kneels during the anthem. Furthermore, the players aren't protesting service members, grown-ups understand this. Anyone who takes this as personal disrespect is immature, which brings me to my next point............
Most of you don't care that they are kneeling, you only care why they are kneeling.

I actually think the opposite. Not enough people know why they are kneeling. We can take educated guesses, but I don't recall a clear message that has been communicated.
This has been going on for a year and much of the media focus today and previously is still on the act itself, not the motivations behind it.

Just because you don't agree with it doesn't mean you have to play the fool. If you've watched any sort of media the past two NFL seasons, you know exactly why they are kneeling.

Bruv, OG kneeler sat because of police brutality and then praised Castro a few days later
Why the frick would I respect this retards movement?

Raise ticket prices? If you think the NFL has ever been about anything but making $, you are very gullible.. I don't get the angst, it's just a fing FB game and all this flag waving is and always has been about marketing.

You obviously didn't read a word I posted. Otherwise you'd be able to quote where I disagreed with it or said I didn't understand.
Ask a casual sports fan what the league-wide protests were about today. You'd likely get different responses about Trump, police brutality, racism, etc. It's not a clear message to a lot of people who are just assuming the players are being ungrateful brats.

You can do all of this and still have respect for the troops.
Ehhhhhh....it depends. The people influencing this movement are the ones who say to white people "If you're not speaking out, you're part of the problem." They view America as an INSTITUTION for white supremacy. That's why they allege institutional racism.
There is no middle ground for these people.
So if you're a soldier, are you not the soldier for racist America? Unless you defect or withdraw, aren't you just part of the problem?
But of course they will never say that. Why? Because they love to pick and choose.

This is nothing more than liberals continuing to melt over losing an election. That's it.
The President says people should respect the flag and what it stands for, and that is somehow a bad thing?
Bunch of fricking temper tantrums going on.

Just how dumb are you? You can support the troops but not the flag. They're not mutually exclusive. I don't support any of this garbage except the protests. Why don't we have salute the fireman? Doctors? Farmers? Instead of killers killing for corporate greed.
Posted on 9/24/17 at 8:16 pm to TJGator1215
That’s because you are stupid
Posted on 9/24/17 at 8:21 pm to TJGator1215
You do not know what the flag represents and most of the people opposing don’t either and it disgusts people. If the flag was so goddamn unimportant why do we drape it over dead troops? Have some goddamn respect and get your fricking head out of your arse. You are a piece of shite.

I'd be willing to bet the vast majority of active duty and vets aren't even upset by the anthem kneeling.
You would lose that bet, hoss.

Nobody bitches about the folks who are still finding their seats, still wearing their hats, playing on their phones, going to the bathroom, buying beer and food, or wandering around the stadium while the anthem is playing.
Funny that you say that, I went to the COlTS VS AZ game last week and I was actually watching the fans in the stand during the anthem to see if they were doing such things...NOTTA, it was totally reverent and respectful, nobody was moving around I was shocked, but this is Indianapolis IN, not exactly San Fran Sicko, good Godly people.
Kneeling is disrespectful, the national anthem is sung to promote national pride and to remember those who fought for our freedom, snubbing that means you are snubbing those two things.....now what are these morons thinking. Simple, they aren't seeing it as that, they simply see it a soap box to promote their lame grievance of nothingness. ANd who promotes it...the media, what if they never mentioned it or didn't show the players kneeling, no one would even know, but the media wants a story and loves pitting people against each other, simple JR high politics.
If I was an owner I would suspend any player, coach, or staff for 1 week with no pay if they did that, 3 strikes and your out. Free speech is not extended to employees and they should be professional at work like you and I are. I can't wear a KKK outfit to work they shouldn't be allowed to kneel for Black Lives Matter.
Last thought, the only social injustice I see is a bunch whiny uneducated black people that are paid millions of dollar to play a child's game while I work my butt off for peanuts, that's injustice. Ask baseball how that strike went in the mid 90s.... the game has never been the same again. Fans really won't take all the shite these players keep putting out.
