You basically want to know if Alabama is the best team in the country.
No I don't.

That's impossible to know and there are about 5 teams around the country that could be the best team. Even the best team doesn't win, so that doesn't even matter.

I'm asking if Alabama's team, at this point, is sorta silencing the opinions of people who are in a rush to put Clemson or Oklahoma or USC or Ok St or PSU or to a much lessor extent OSU and Mich over them.

It's not a crazy thought at all that Alabama isn't the best team.

It hasn't been a very popular thought around the sports world this year, though.

Dude...

Did you read my post?

Everyone has Alabama fatigue.

People get tired of putting Bama at the top, so the media creates these arguments that other teams are better to keep people actually engaged and interested.

OU has the most impressive victory on the season, despite them just sleepwalking against Baylor yesterday.

But Alabama has the most 4 and 5 stars, and has the best coaching.

So either 1st or 2nd best, doesn't really matter.

Alabama is the only team in the country that entered the season knowing it didn't have to win its conference championship or
Go undefeated to be guaranteed to make the playoffs.
