Yea but not by a lot.

The broker said she loves LA drivers because they are the only ones who like the rates.

When we lived in Katy, I did not find it to be much cheaper than NOLA. Maybe 2-3 percent cheaper. Texas has an insane number of uninsured drivers.

Ours dropped about 220$, same coverage with State Farm. Switched to Geico and dropped another 52$.

Depends on what county you are in. Harris is one of the most expensive.

Mine isn't about $105/month. No accidents or tickets.

Just a single data point, but I just moved from New Orleans to Houston, and my rate with Geico went from ~$700 to $500 / 6 months.

A bit cheaper! What city are you moving to? We switched from Progressive to Geico and our monthly payment is less than half.

I understand the non-insured rates in LA are high, but my rate in Ohio, full coverage, SUV and Corolla, is $300 for 6 months. All that being said, I can't wait for retirement and spend October to May back home.
