I might be in. Currently this is my only fantasy sports league, pretty sure a redraft league would be my first choice for a new one. Total opposite.

I wouldn't hate a solid redraft league. All my leagues are keeper or dynasty. I also think it would be fun if we had a group of us do an Ottoneu League on fangraphs with salaries.
I've always wanted to do an NL-only or AL-only league.
Ottoneu seems cool, just seems like a lot of work

Kevin Kernan of the New York Post reports that Zack Wheeler has been receiving daily shots of a bone growth drug into his stomach for the past six months.
The drug, Forteo, helps to form new bone, increase bone mineral density, and increase bone strength. It's quite the commitment from Wheeler who is looking to improve his durability. He made just 17 starts in 2017 before suffering a stress reaction in his right arm after missing the entire 2015 and 2016 seasons due to Tommy John surgery.

I've never seen the godfather in its entirety either Rondo, I'm afraid it won't live up to the hype.

I can't think of many movies from that time period I like really.
I was trolling when I said Kubrick sucked doe. Most movies I like from the 70's are Kubrick.
ETA: I cant help but think fanbiys of the Godfather fall into 2 categories.
1 - Old people that watched it when it came out and it was something they had never seen before
2 - people that have been told it's perfect and they don't want to seem like they are "wrong" about it.

I agree with this, I think some film styles you just had to see it when it came out. Like Star Wars, I mean, I like it as much as the next guy and I can see how thats special effects blew people away in the 70's but as someone who didn't watch it IN that time periods, its very meh.

Yeah star wars is another one. I watch all of them since it's been a huge part of out culture my entire life but they're all pretty terrible if you step back and think about whats on the screen.

I actually just watched all three for the first time the past two days.
I thought 1 and 2 were awesome. I wish I could get my 2 1/2 hours back on 3.

The 70s style of story telling really sucks imo. Scenes just hop all over the place. Shootouts are all wide screen so you have no idea which guinea is bring shot by which goombah.
A lot of over acting too

3 is terrible, 2 is prob the best. 1 stands up even now, rondo has poor taste

Stands up? I am being told it's the best movie ever....it is not
It's a good story but poorly executed imo

Yeh. This is what got me. The storyline is great.
ETA: except for 3. Good God it was terrible.

I bought the trilogy on DVD on sale a while back... enjoyed the first two, but I still haven't even watched part 3. Everything I hear is that it's terrible.

In Godfather 3, sure. Coppola’s daughter is laughable and Pacino goes all scent of a woman. Like he forgot how to play Michael. And no Duvall
But in 1 and 2, if anything holds up its the acting and characters imo.
As for them jumping around, that’s how the book is written and the movie stays pretty close to the book

Ya it stands up. Does growing up in manchac erase any Italian culture you should have experienced?

Duvall is easily the best actor in part 1 and 2

I enjoy GF 1 & 2 but they aren't movies I need to watch in their entirety again. I'll watch bits & pieces of each if i see one is on TV and nothing else is on, but that is about as much as my fandom goes for them.
I watched The Graduate for the first time within that last few years and was disappointed. Although Katharine Ross was a smoke show in it.

Pacino is pretty good, he plays two different characters essentially
James Caan is good
Brando is convincing but James gandolfinii is the goat mob boss actor
