No. It was time to get rid of Les.
That doesn't mean we had to settle for O though either.

Should lsu have stuck with miles over O if they weren't going to get a better coach.
Yes. Now we're stuck with O for at least 2, probably 3 years thanks the ridiculously high buyout that fricking Joe Alleva gave O.
At least if this year turned out badly with Miles, he could be let go. Even if LSU is a total dumpster fire for the next 2 seasons, it's unlikely that we can fire O considering the buyout would still be $8.5M plus still owing Miles $1.5M per year until 2022.

Neither Les nor O should be the head coach right now. You can be glad that Les was fired but still be mad O is the coach. Les had to go

No
Coach Miles' time had past, but he was obstinate and could not see the game had evolved and passed him buy.
That being said, the shambolic way the Miles era ended should have cost numerous LSU higher ups their jobs.
My biggest fear is Will Wade will save Joe Alleva's arse, and people will go back to the wait till next year attitude.
There is absolutely no way Ed Orgeron should have ever been in the position to assume HC responsibilities at LSU, given his past performance at Mississippi.

It was way past time for les to go. NCAA offense had passed him by a long time ago.

No.
Wish we had promoted Fisher or Hired Petrino after Saban left.
Still stand by this.

A change was needed. However A Miles coached team would have not got creamed by THIS MSU team on Saturday night... I am not sure what O said at halftime but it seemed to get worse AFTER halftime... very disturbing....
