I've been debating some chucklehead that is soooo pissed LSU fired Les and hired Coach O. I've heard we should have hired Herman, but I think Herman's debut game was a loss. I'm not campaigning either I do believe in giving someone a chance to see how it will workout. Only time will tell how this season will unfold.

I know that watching the same old offense of Toss dive and running straight ahead into 8-9 men stacked in the box was redundant and not very productive. According to this chucklehead "at least CLM kept us competive even in our losses" is his philosophy.

With some of the emotion from the loss calming down, I am truly curious how LSU nation feels about it all.

No. It was time to get rid of Les.

That doesn't mean we had to settle for O though either.

I'm glad Les is gone but I think we'll be looking for a coach again after 2018

What would be different with Miles there? Same players, same result.

Yes, over this.

No, if we had an athletic department that knew its arse from a hole in the ground.

I do too, someone with a history and resume that indicates they have at least some chance of succeeding.

No. But I wish it was so. Eine other than O

I wanted Herman but would have been fine with Mullen, Gundy or PJ Fleck

No, but I sure would like a do-over on how we got rid of him.

Firing him mid-season with his record here pretty much guaranteed no big name would come here IMO. Alleva needs to go.

I wish LSU wouldn't have fumbled the ball after the 2015 season. When Miles should have been let go after beating TAMU.

This will be a good question for the end of the season.

Should lsu have stuck with miles over O if they weren't going to get a better coach.

Coach O could easily go 7-5, with guice. Would LSU have gone 7-5 with miles. Doubt it.

But they wouldn't have beaten bama or won the west either.

Do you have to go backwards to go forwards?

No.

But the people complaining about Les' rushing offense are being very short sighted considering that other than a couple jet sweeps, Canada's rushing offense is absolutely run it straight up the middle with no imagination.

Les' offense had multiple variations of toss powers and toss sweeps.

Hell no. I'm willing to see how this season plays out with Coach O. I'm not going jump off no building yet. I'm going to hope this was just one really bad game and we got it out the way.

So far with Florida last year and State this year. Coach O isn't giving a good impression.

Les should have been released after 2015 when everyone said thanks and goodbye.

that's when they should have hired a real coach.

Not this fred flintstone/captain caveman knockoff

I'd easily take Les WITH a new offense. His teams were ready to play. It's only one game I know so I'm not hitting the panic button but I have found out where it is in case I want to push it. We will figure out more once we get to the swamp.
