We were very likely to stumble out of the gate in an SEC opener, on the road, new hc, new offense, youth, injuries, suspensions, etc, etc...

We'll get our legs under us and come hard down the stretch, but there will be growing pains.

It is really that simple. Very little talent in the trenches for Lsu. Rantards generally aren't smart enough to understand that.

well put. we have too much youth to play that first SEC game on the road; they made some huge errors. experience will help a lot; I think we have talent.

Saban gave up 43 and 30 points to Ole Miss and Arkansas last year. I guess he forgot it all too, right?

I love Orgeron-Saban comparisons.

No discipline, No OL, Weak WRs, Average QB, Young Dbs, Coach Zero

Only one area can improve. The DBs

Look at the roster. Look at their class. Look at who the experienced players are. This team has a huge gap in quality, experienced players. How many 3rd, 45th, and 5th year players are there? How many are good

How many top 10 recruiting classes in a row has LSU signed?

Did Saban lose by 30 to those teams?

And if so, Brennan needs to be part of the growing pains while Guice, Williams, and two veteran tackles and TEs are still here.

No OL or DL depth. Outmanned in the trenches all game - possibly all season. O looked lost. The comments the accouncers reported him saying "MSU 10x better at home than on the road" sounded like a scared coach to me.

The is nothing that explains it other than the head coach is not qualified for his position

Plenty enough talent on both lines to NOT get beat by 30 at Mississippi State.

Maybe so. Danny would certainly give us a proven back-up. We'll see.

We got out coached. When the players felt helpless as a result, they lost hope and then composure. It went downhill from there. Mullen owned O and Aranda and the O line failed miserably.

How's that do for ya ?

This is ALL on the Head Coach. Sorry to say it. Orgeron is in over his head

You aren't sorry to say it. It's on Aranda for not having his defense ready. For some reason he's been getting a pass today. It's because most of you have been up his arse from day one and it wouldn't make you look near as prophetic as saying that I told you so about O. fricking pathetic.

JFC we are bare at the wrong positions and we are playing a ton of true freshman. It was their first road game in a hostile environment. AND Moo State is fricking really good.

But keep bashing cause that's all y'all care about. Bunch of pansy asses.

They players owned themselves.

On two of their scoring drives we stopped them on 3rd down to only have two dumb arse targeting penalties.

Out "average QB" threw two lasers on 20-30 yard Third down plays and hit receivers in their hands. Dropped em.

One TD was called back on a bullshite call.

Our team is young. The youngest I've ever seen. Coaches are to blame for some of it but at the end of the day, the players gotta perform. Ours didn't. Guice was shite. Recerivers were shite. And we are beat up.

This x 100. Everyone is like "lulz we can't beat state" like state is always shite. That was a bad arse team. A playoff contention type team. They are legit.
