And saying our season is over after 1 loss is actually worse.

Every team in the SEC outside of Bama (and I guess MSU now) has struggled in a game.

Is losing 28-7 against TCU at home really any better than what we did? No, it's not

What's up with the players who O said are"not available right now?" Are these guys injured, suspended, a combo of both? If it's a discipline issue this early in the season, then O better get a handle on it ASAP. It would be a huge hurdle to overcome if we are never at full strength because key players "aren't available."

We will eventually open up that playbook, huh Butt?

Gosh, LSU fans are so dumb

Our problem was not offense. It's like people watch different games. We average nearly 5 yards a rush last night...we had to abandon that and go to a spread and throw it around (which Canada nor Etling want to do) because we gave up 450+ yards.

Aranda had an awful scheme, and our players on defense got manhandled...simple as that.

We had 2-3 critical drops that won't like that often, we had a BS touchdown called back...it's not as bad as people think it is. The problems were correctable.

And THAT is every LSU fans' problem.

So you think that team from last night will show up every game? We won't have two of our best DLinemen, Key will stay fat and out of shape all year. We will have 100+ yards of penalties every game.

Like every young team, this team will do well at home. Also, they will grow as the season goes on. They will look much different in November than now. Lastly, have you watched the rest of the SEC? Besides Alabama, every single SEC team can be beat.

I will say this:

We will beat Cuse, Troy. TAMU and Arky would be a little different on the road, but they've both looked awful in the beginning at they're both at home. That's 6 wins. We play at Ole Miss, which by that point will have given up on the season and they're not very good. We play Auburn at home, which if you haven't noticed, barely got 100 yards against Clemson and was in a battle with Mercer. UF and UT it was 6-3 in the 4th quarter. There is not one single game outside of Bama that it's a certain loss.

THIS^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

You hit it right on the head. It's just ONE LOSS.........................albeit an embarrassing one. Been watching college football for over thirty years and one thing I realize is that teams...........especially young teams..............make much improvement as the season progresses. It may seem bleak right now but, it is still just one game. Don't extrapolate the entire season because we lost our first conference game that was also on the road.

Outside at Cuse and Troy there isn't a certain win on the schedule. Let's say we win those 2, lose to Bama and split the rest. That's 7-5

Being behind the team and thinking that it will turn into a raging dumpster fire under Ed O are mutually exclusive

We had 10 penalties for the 3rd straight game to open the season.

I haven't seen that corrected yet.

" we deserve better"

It's unfortunate that opinion wasn't imade much stronger and much more often last September through November when this stuff was going down.

But what we got then was, " he is one of us" or " everyone deserves a second chance " or " any coach can win at LSU" or " anyone is better than Miles".

Aranda"s defense is truly handicapped with all the linemen missing for various reasons. We all know he's a great coach but he can only do so much with so many missing players. Patience is a virtue

Back the players. No excuse for our top paid coordinators and bumbling head coach to allow that mess

I'm not a child. I support my team, players and, yes, coaches, period.

I don't root against the team to get a coaching change and I back a coach, even though I might not be crazy about the hire. It's called "adulthood."

LSU fans assume that all other teams improve from game to game, but we won't. They also forget that we lost a game by 4 TDs in 2001 and still won the conference.

We have a loss like this almost every year. If anything, Miles was good about keeping very many games from getting out of hand. Saban had a loss like this or similar all but 1 of his 5 seasons here.
