Boom!50/50 at the very minimum

Was the ticket purchased where she worked?
Odds go up to 90%

Too bad there's no annuity, she seems the sort that needs one.

Ol' broad needs to buy a $200,000 house, spend $20k on a new Honda in cash. Maybe blow $25k on pills, casino, vacations, furniture in the house.

If she gets the 1.4M that others in this thread say she will get I would recommend:

-Spend $200k on a house in a really good school district
-Spend $25k on a reliable car to haul her plethora of kids around in
-Spend $? on sending ole baw to welding school or some kind of trade school
-Spend $? on educating herself enough to land a low level receptionist job or something like that, something better than gas station attendant
The rest gets invested conservatively for a yield of around $30k/year in perpetuity

I sincerely hope she does something like this, but I am not holding my breath.

In cash, she'll take home about $750-800,000. The $2 million is based off of a 30 yr annuity.

Ol' broad needs to buy a $200,000 house, spend $20k on a new Honda in cash. Maybe blow $25k on pills, casino, vacations, furniture in the house.

The remaining $500k she needs to put in long term bonds or CDs. Not because it's going to make her more money, but she is trash. Her boyfriend is trash. I suspect her family is trash. She needs to put that money somewhere that she can't touch it.

The fact that the boyfriend is in the picture w/ here means he'll want to marry her now.

Either way, she'll somehow end up in debt & bankrupt because the boyfriend needs a new F350 for his milk home delivery service business that Louisiana's been clamoring to get. She's going to be funding all sorts of business ventures.

If I win $750k, I tell no one. That's investment money, not retirement money. At least she doesn't quit her job since she'll need it in less than two years.
After I pay off all of my debt and get my masters in stats I'd only have about 600k left and that's without buying a new house which I will, but after I get a new job. I'd invest some in real estate rentals. The rest would go into a fund that can get me 5% compounded.

Happy for her, she's a sweet woman. Always smiling and talking to customers when they come in. She definitely deserves this, as far as the boyfriend, I have no idea who he is or if he's even from LA. Its a small town and everybody knows everybody, but I've never came across him before.

Looks like a couple you would see leaving a pentacostal church headed to the bar room.

Who has cashiers check numbers? I just check online each drawing. You would know if you won 2 million

She could take an average of $58k a year for 29 years.
Take $5k every year and buy a random stock from fortune 500. Hold them all. Your gonna have a few hit the jackpot and split.
I pray she gets counsel.

The number of kids she has at her age tells me there is no way she can delay gratification to even extend this windfall for three years.

I know it's the OT, but god damn are there some insecure and judgmental people in this thread.

And a 26 year old having 3 kids is not really that big of a deal. It wouldn't be my choice, but it's far from being 18 with even 1 kid

Unmarried is a huge deal. Plenty of statistics with regard to single moms that don't make it look like a great idea.
