I know baw. Just havin a go.
Still funny how the Instagram hood meme pages all equate android cameras to GTA San Andreas graphics

Buying a $999 phone to checkout/use the new features for said phone once, just doesn't seem smart to me.

Phones have entered new car prices for me. I just can't buy one at that price.

Except maybe the device that's 20 percent cheaper and is used just as much in almost identical manners. You're not smart, and that's okay because Apple marketing loves you.
Apple users are more engaged than Android users. Do you know what that means? They use their phones more. Do you know what that means? Apple is cheaper on a cost per use basis.
Why would you call anyone not smart yet be so ignorant?

Nope, not me.
I recently bought the OnePlus5. $539.00 for a flagship killer.
- 8GB Ram
- 128GB Storage
- Snapdragon 835 processor
- Android 7.1 installed with regular updates from OnePlus.

If you read this in the voice of an effeminate male, and imagine a guy holding a satchel and wearing skinny jeans, this makes a lot more sense. I mean, it's completely untrue, I'm just saying it helps understand where nonsense like this comes from.

Fck that. I'm always at least two models behind.
Currently have an old 5 with a cracked screen
I have a Note 3 and a Note 5. The 3 (purchased in 2012) has never, ever been in a case. Not once. But it has been dropped, kicked and spilled on. No cracks, ever.
The 5 is a company phone and stays in a case, so not a good comparison.
However, my wife and daughter go through iPhone screens at least once every six months, at minimum. They are fragile as hell.
No thanks. Not for $1000. Not for $500.

Ignorant, indeed.
Forbes' take on usage versus sales
So, that's 2 Android devices used for every iOS device. Do iOS users spend twice as much time as Android users using their devices?
Don't worry, though. Apple's got you covered. They're going to release some new technology that might appeal to you. It is going to make your Snapchat experience SOOOOO much better.
EDIT: I can always count on fun from an Apple thread.

The article you linked mentions nothing about engagement/use.
I think I messed up by specifically stating iphones were cheap on a cost per use basis (because that is what the thread is about). I should have stated smartphones are cheap on a price per use basis. If Google were to sell a top end phone for $2,000 I would argue it is cheap. We use these things so much that I feel it is actually one of the cheaper things I own.
That was my point. I am not arguing Apple versus Google. Both are cheap to me even at current prices. I just wanted to provide a different way of looking at it.

You do realize Androids are the most vulnerable phone out there to hackers right? They are wide open. Apple devices are as secure as you can get.

This ^^^
Palm Pre's a decade ago had durable, just about unbreakable screens.

I'm waiting for the Yeti/Iphone to come out. $5K, including bottle opener.

Technically that was an iCloud hack.
But just from the signaling end, ipSEC has to keep up with the 4channelers DAILY.

Some people will lease it and pay $2.5k for the iPhoneX by the time the lease is done.
