So after one game how does the board feel about Michael Thomas as the number 1 receiver?

I think he's gonna grow into the role and be solid, just curious what the board feels after game 1?

We have many holes on this team

WR1 isn't one of them

He was wide open in the end zone on that poor excuse for a throw to Ginn.

I think Thomas will get everyone's best CB, that Ginn and Lewis are not great pass catchers and we need Sneed back in the lineup. Coleman is the same ol' Coleman and Fleener played well.

We gave him no chances on slants his best route. he is our 1 and better than at least 15 teams number 1

I'm not the least bit concerned about the WR's.

I'm beginning to be more and more terrified by two things: I'm growing more and more disgusted by Sean Payton's game management and playcalling and that we've seen the prime of Drew Brees wasted.

Mike Thomas is going to do just fine in his role this year. It's the other receiver that concern me. Losing Snead hurt more than most of us probably thought it would. He's not an all pro game changer by any means but he's a reliable target that can get open and move the chains for you. Ginn is Ginn, he's hot and cold, Coleman thus far seems like just a camp/practice warrior, Lewis has some potential but too early to tell.

He is a stud. This game doesn't change that.

I don't believe he is a #1 receiver.......ted ginn is a slot receiver..........but the saints feel they can just plug and play......will this be the last year for payton and brees.

Would be nice if we called plays for him in the red zone instead of stone hands Ginn.

I felt like once Strief was out the pocket was collapsing so fast that Drew didn't really have any chances to get it to him, so I'm not concerned.

I think he's still very good. Brees had no time to throw at all. It's not like anyone else was lighting it up.
