Or better yet people should just stop going and spending money.
That would get the league and owners attention.

Football players, especially high end football players, are underpaid.

It is ultimately responsible. Protest all you want, but do it on your time. Not while you are at work. Jerry Jones is the only owner to my knowledge to make any sort of statement about his players standing for the anthem.

I would love to be a fly on the wall for some of the new paragraphs that agents and teams are trying to negotiate into contracts with this crap happening.

His average was actually incorrect, the average football player players like 3-4 years, so no he wouldn't be set for life nor would he make more in his football career than a scientist who works 30+ years to retirement.

True. They also have agents and other commissions to pay out of their salary. Plus quite a few of them are dumb enough to fund their posse and hire woeful financial advisers.

If those idiots kneeling and sitting don't want to support America, we should stop giving the NFL tax breaks. The NFL allows them to not support America, but still heavily profit off of Americans. Easy fix is to stop giving the NFL tax breaks

So you hate market economics?

The OT constitution must start with the 2nd amendment. Talk about guns and it's your right to have whatever you want, mention free speech and all of a sudden the NFL should take away their players rights. It's mind blowing how short sighted some of you are.

What i don't get, is when did kneeling get to be such a horrific event?

If you told me some one kneels on a knee, with helmet off, facing flag for anthem, i'd be like ok.

Now, if you showed me players turning their backs, with helmet on, then i'd say they are trying to be dildos.

In older days, kneeling was a show of respect, so i just don't get the hate for kneeling so much.

And i'm a big Police Supporter

What's "mind blowing" is how adults in the U.S. don't understand the most basic principle of the U.S. Constitution.

I don't know why anyone gets upset about people kneeling during the anthem. It doesn't harm you or yours in any way except your feels and this website is supposed to be in the reals over feels group.

Even if you disagree with them, let them make their statement.
