I don't see civil war happening in the way most people envision it, as two sides squaring off.
I do see incidents like Charlottesville increasing in frequency, size, and violence.
It's just fringe elements on both sides at the moment, but if this shite keeps up...it will stop being just fringe elements.

The sky is falling! Talk of civil war is idiotic. I seriously can't even imagine what that would look like. Certainly would not be a traditional war w two armies and all that. I don't know if you noticed but the us military is like six times larger than any other on earth.

While I agree with you that some sort of civil war with two armies squaring off isn't likely to happen, don't make the assumption that the US military is some monolithic being that will always side with the government.
Officer's Oaths of Office are very specific, and as I've said before many of us take it very seriously.

And that will never happen, because far too many people have far too much monetary interest (and interest in power) to let that happen.
