Fair enough, really should have commented on the dry part only.
I was only sharing my observations. You have been a tremendous source of good information during this entire thing, and I thank you for that.

Ryno, I'm worried for that entire area along Brazos in sugar land to mo. City. Glad you got out. I'll keep you posted. Everybody I know from Sienna got out.

[quote]Just checking in, been driving 4 hours round trip the last two days cleaning up what's left of our place down in Lamar outside of Rockport. Devastation is unreal, pictures doesn't do it justice, 13' to 15' storm surge is what took out my inlaws place. Several of my friends that were checking on us yesterday were today evacuating there homes southwest of Houston. As worn out physically as I am, I think I'm more worn out mentally, lots to take in with no rest. God bless anyone affected by Harvey, lost for words to say beyond that
It's going to be a tough road, but you will be fine. Stay resilient. We are still not back In our house after last years August floods. I know where you are coming from. Know there is a lot of volunteer help on the way, and you and all those affected our in our prayers.

Nah no pics just got an email earlier. Damage to the deck and dock they had just built, the main building was mostly ok I think

Did it flood on that side? I haven't ventured out of our neighborhood in two days. I know Cypress wood has taken a lot of water. Same for Jones.

Comment on the Northshore too pls.
Pretty substantial bands expected to develop in the model, but they move to the east pretty quickly. This is an 18 hour projection. Some sizable rainfall totals in the Orange, TX area, and sizable isolated totals from Lafayette to New Orleans.

Looks like our house will be flooded out and no flood insurance sucks but we are alive and safe.
Damn, Ryno. Glad you are safe but sorry to hear about the house.

I'm sorry to hear that man. It rose very quickly up our driveway last night but drained out by 5 am. We started to prep for the water and then the rain stopped. It's in the streets again but they haven't fully gone under and appear to be draining again.
