I ended up hating a Lone Wolf that seemed perfect on paper. I doubt I ever buy another without at least some sort of test.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the Muddy Stalker. Have been very satisfied with other Muddy gear I have purchased.

I've been curious about those.
The Timbertall is definitely not for everyone... I am 5'8" tall and weigh about 175... I move around and climb in it pretty well but I can see that a larger guy wouldn't be as cozy as I am.
The seat that comes with the climber is NOT comfortable at all. I can do a morning or afternoon hunt in it but If I'm going to be there all day I always bring the Summit Surround seat.

How is that Muddy Stalker? I'm about to buy a climber. Debating which one.

I've hunted out of a lot of them including a Tree Lounge (too bulky), for Louisiana where you can usually find a slick pine the Ole Man is awesome. The teeth grab the bark but do not puncture the tree, they also have a belt to strap in place once up.
Just my opinion

Love my summit viper. After owning it for years, I feel like I finally have it exactly like I wanted. Scrapped the summit seat and replaced with a mesh seat. Added Molle shoulder straps and hip belt. Replaced the rope between top and bottom pieces with stabilizer straps from third hand archery. Also added the third hand bow holder. Easy to carry and super secure in the tree with the stabilizer straps.

Ol' Man climbers are my favorite, I've been using them for over 25 years
