I'm fairly certain most of this is in accurate, as Hoffman was working with ergot mold in attempt to find a cure for migraines. What he stumbled across was actually LSD and the Sandoz company from Switzerland was the first to commercially produce LSD.

Shrooms are the next thing that need to be legalized.
