I have a sneaking suspicion that rickety footbridge isn't up to code.

It's already been delayed 8 months thanks to the floods and racists.

Not an ice cream sandwich's chance on the slopes of Mount Doom after Frodo dropped the one ring into the magma thus destroying Sauron and saving Middle Earth will this be completed.

Dumb question, but is this being done for drainage purposes or to repair the roads that go through the FQ?

Mitch doesn't care about the city at all.

If this isn't completed by Mardi Gras, the economic impact would be devastating.

That little construction pathway looks horrendous. Only left with that little path by Krystal Burger? That area is sketchy as hell. Now cramped and sketchy.

What's the purpose? Dropping new drainage pipe? I assume Canal was part of what flooded in NOLA recently.

What exactly are they doing besides replacing outdated drainage? Are they paving the street with that ugly cement? Why not use brick pavers for a more authentic look? And were there any archeological studies done while digging? Seems like a big waste if there weren't.

You could have stopped with the sandwich on the slopes of an erupting Mount Doom

the drainage has not been adequately updated for, well ever.

plus the road was full of potholes, etc - it was gross; mitch sucks but this makeover was much needed

with that said, i do believe the project is already a month behind (theyve only started on two blocks)
