how do you keep gumbo leftovers from being all liquid in one and all meat in the other?

i have wrestled with this multiple times. i'm trying to pour out that large pot and inevitably the first container is mostly liquid and the second one is all the meat.
i've tried stirring it before i poured it out but that only helps a little.
techqniues o great ones of the fdb?

take out all the solids first and distribute evenly between 2 containers
then fill up with the liquid
this isn't rocket science

Dude knows how to wire his house so he can flush his toilet with his phone, but can't figure out how to equally distribute gumbo meat

Scoop solids...then pour liquids. You got this

Could always strain the liquid into two containers equally and then put meat into each.

Method may vary depending on how many pounds of tomatoes you use.

I don't know, CAD. Your post may be up there with the aged meat pic of the meat and your toes.
I use a ladle.
Doesn't pouring it cause splashes in addition to uneven containers?

Mom uses a 2 cup measuring cup until there's just a little left- catch meat and broth for the most part, then divide up the rest when you can't scoop anymore.
