Come on man Barry Sanders is arguably the best running back ever who retired in his prime. Let's not get carried away now.

So you're saying he doesn't look remotely close? I mean damn look at his tape and I made it clear that I'm not comparing the two.

No doubt he has lots to prove to come close to Barry Sanders but he's the closest thing I've seen since. I didn't say a thing more. Not my fault you guys overreact to everything. When I hear people say Terrence Magee now that's funny.

No doubt I'm sunshiny, and I think LSU fans should have high expectations for real talent, he's real talent. If our defense is struggling against this guy straight out of HS he's the real deal.

If he doesn't get 2-3 touches a game, I'll be greatly surprised.

Lmao, you guys are the ones carrying it away, I said closest since, didn't say that he will be like him or as successful or look remotely like him in the NFL but if you look at his HS tape that's who he reminds me of.

He has those type of moves, does he not? Easily the quickest, best stop and go back we've had here at LSU. Dudes got talent and many people overlooked him.

We will soon see if he's got the juice as well. I hope he lights it up.

That run at the 46-second mark...wow. He cuts like Shyrone Carey. Dude seems to be a tough SOB too. I imagine Canada will be using him early and often with his good hands receiving too. It seems like you could dump it off to this guy on 3rd down and get a lot of 1st downs.

That's the other thing about him. I've heard he works his arse off, then has that little man chip on his shoulder. Although he still knows who he is and what he can do to who. He's smart, hardworking, great attitude, strong, quick, and has insane stop start ability.

These backs are so hard to tackle because first, it's hard to even see them, so you have no idea how hard he's running. He could pop out full speed and you wouldn't know it until it's too late. He could also set you up, let you overrun, then cut it back on a dime. Next you still have to get your damn hands on this guy to tackle him. When you finally get your hands on him he surprises you with his strength.

He's going to be a handful. I think if he proves to be a good ball security back, he should be 2nd behind Guice for carries. Williams will get his too but he will still be the short yardage guy. This guy will prove to be a serious threat as the season goes and possibly immediately. Idk where he's at with the offense, protections, blocking, and what not.

I think you were looking for "transparency." And I don't care about the media ban, but you don't really think those quotes constitute transparency do you?

Let's be honest, I'm not even sure Barry would start at LSU this season.

So you're saying a guy who has had a string of good practices but is yet to take an NCAA snap is the closest thing to Barry Sanders that you've seen? Jesus Christ

Barry Sanders would ride the pine at LSU. 49 year old running back in the SEC would get pummeled.

I actually am an optimistic person, but you have been jumping the gun on everything lately. Seems like everything/everyone is the next superstar.

I hope CEH lights it up, cause my confidence in anyone not named guice is pretty low at the moment.

Eta- he does have some sick arse runs on the highlight video.

Compare for yourselves;
Now remember I said closest since, didn't say he would be as successful or be anything like him in the NFL. Here's proof that you guys just live on this board to pile up on people. I'll take my apologies now arse wipes.

Don't think anyone would have issue if you said "his running style is very similar to B Sanders"

Reggie Bush was very Barry Sanders-ish.

But yes, I see similarities. I do think Terrance Magee is a great comparison. Dude was slippery as hell in HS. That's a complement. You act like CEH shouldn't be spoken in the same breath as magee, and that's just crazy.
