More info would have been nice. Like where it is, lot size, house size, etc.
As it is, this is a dumb thread with little point, except a new neighborhood near you has nice houses.

A. There are plenty of homes in that screen grab that were "just sold" 2+ years ago.
B. There are homes in this "new" subdivision that were built in 2003, if not earlier.

see a lot of areas with a lot of homes for sale and no issues. Don't think it's anything to worry about. Franklin seems to be going through a growth phase and some original owners may not like the growth.

Some family friends of ours live in franklin. Got in before the boom apparently. They moved there back in the 90's-early 2000's
