In light of all the filth that has come to light the Popes have been hiding I'd say she was doing the public a service.

Hits???? She only has a career because of her ONE HIT which was a Prince song at that. I do hope she pulls out of it though. I wish her no harm.

The Lion And the Cobra is one of the top 10 albums of the 80s.

You might try giving it a spin.

The Prince song is her weakest.

So what are these "Mental Illnesses"? It sounds like one is probably addiction to some substance. Why else would her friends turn away from her?

I just can't comprehend how she got here.

The worst part is she said she had a kidney stone. Now I feel really bad for her.

That's absolutely heartbreaking- that level of suffering. To react with anything other than compassion to her is incomprehensible to me. I hope she finds some peace and understanding . So sad to see that.

It's funny how her actions had her vilified and blackballed in the early '90s, but nowadays she would be lauded as an advocate for human rights and social justice.

For the record, I have absolutely no problem with what she did. SNL and live music broadcasts are always taking a risk when inviting outspoken, politically/socially-driven artists.

she has been steadily releasing albums for years..the last one in 2014 although she returned much more to her celtic roots and less pop.

most of the releases were solid and have had great reviews so i can't believe she's destitute.

so i can't imagine other than mental illness or squandering her money on hookers and blow how she could come to be living in a motel in NJ.

quote:

Sinéad Marie Bernadette O’Connor is an Irish singer born on December 8, 1966 in Dublin, Irland. O’Connor has a net worth of $6 million. She is widely recognized for her artistic qualities, polemical statements and most of all for her extravagance.

Starting her musical career in the 1980’s as the voice of Ton Ton Macoute, she signed with Ensing Records after making her noticed in the industry of music.

After a two-year hiatus, during which she joined Peter Gabriel tournament, Sinead O’Connor re-entered the pop music with her new album “Universal Mother” in 1994. It was well received by critics. In 1997, her song titled Gospel Oak was launched, and in the middle of 2000, she released “Faith and Courage”, her first album in six years. Two years later, new album “Sean-Nós Nua,” was highly appreciated and was detrimental on her successful return to the Irish folk tradition.

Following a series of collaborations in 2005, she launched the “Throw Down Your Arms”, a collection of classic-reggae music. It went number 4 on Billboard’s Top Reggae Albums chart. She re-entered the studio the following year for “Theology”, published in 2007, inspired by the complexities of the global situation after 9/11.

In a recent blog post, entitled "IS SINEAD ABOUT TO HUMP HER TRUCK?" O'Connor writes, "My sh-uation sexually/affectionately speaking is so dire that inanimate objects are starting to look good as are inappropriate and/or unavailable men and/or inappropriate and/or unavailable fruits and vegetables. I tell you yams are looking like the winners."

quote:

She writes, "Let me now take time to make VERY clear that yes I 'do anal' and in fact I would be deeply unhappy if 'doing anal' wasn't on the menu, amongst everything else$$ So if u don't like 'the difficult brown'.. Don't apply..."
