Now that the Washington way has failed, I think we're about to see Trump go scorched earth.

Well he's still got a long way to go before that.
Trump is learning the hard way you can't run the corrupt government like a business. Government, and those who make it up, run themselves with a different set of standards and rules.

You should probably find an online civics class. He's not king. The things he can do by EO are extremely limited unless he wants to overthrow the gov't and declare himself ruler.

I have said I hope this is what he is doing by pushing whatever bill Ryan and McConnell present.

Short term? Sure. Post 2018? Let's see how long it takes all of the GOPe and Dem establishment shitbags to change their tunes when Kid Rock takes a senate seat from a multi-term democrat senator in a "blue state" and a bunch of nobodies steal seats away from people whose jobs were secure a year ago. The smart way would have been to set up shop in the states of the no vote republicans when this whole healthcare thing was getting started and have rally after rally until the dissenters in the party came around to supporting a bill they supported 2 years ago.
