That's a good point. I've never even considered removing the gun from my car while traveling through other states. Probably not a smart move

Keep mine on me all the time unless I'm running or in a state that doesn't honor LA CC. Get it ASAP, people are crazy.

Pecker, You need to go read a few of the concealed carry threads on the Outdoor board. Their are CC class teachers, people who work at stores, store owners and manufacturers that post there regularly.

No because I'm not some fear mongering pussy.

Yes, I do.

I have a CCL but unfortunately all my guns were lost in a boating accident.
Hypothetically, I would carry a XD9 with IWB holster everyday though.

Thanks. I'll check it out. I rarely venture over there.

Yes, always carry. Always. Save for SEC. football games, and the like.

I never leave home without it.

Open carry here in Montana. No permit. I carry on weekends usually. Not worried about people here in Montana, just bears.

Do you have a permit? And if so, how often do you carry?
Yes. Stays in my truck.

Every day at work. Outside of work, I take it most of the time I'm going out in public anywhere it's legal to do so. If I'm just going to a friend's house or something I'll leave it at home.

I have a permit. I carry everywhere except when I get out of my car to go to work, at work, and walking to my car from work.
I carry a range of double stacks in regular clothes but my single stacks.. kahr CM9 and walther pps m2 are the real mvps in summer months... the cm9 can be carried with basketball shorts.

I had one when I lived in NC but LA won't recognize a CCW from another state once you become a resident of LA. I never got one here because LA has some stupid arse fee if you haven't been a resident for over 10 years.

Yes.
So far, never.
But as other posters have pointed out, it sure simplifies the gray areas of carrying in your vehicle.
