Broward County, Fla contains thousands of voters over 100.

As Democrats and the mainstream media continue to insist that the president’s voter-fraud commission is a scheme to suppress votes, the head of elections in Broward County, Fla., is appearing in federal court in Miami as a defendant in a lawsuit where she will have to explain why Broward has more registered voters than citizens of voting age – a voter registration rate of 103 percent.
In 2010, the registration percentage was 106.
quote:
And she may also have to try to explain why Broward County, which has the highest number of Democratic voters in the state, has thousands of people over the age of 100 on its roll, and some as old as 130.
quote:
The case illustrates the very real problem with so many voter rolls in the country, where elected supervisors have often neglected, or even refused, to take steps to ensure that the roll is an accurate list of eligible registered voters.
quote:
Brenda Snipes, the Broward County Supervisor of Elections, responded to the letters by saying it was “implausible” that there are ineligible voters on the roll, insisting that she was following the requirements of the law, without providing specific evidence
We all know who's county this is, don't we?

It takes a while for dead people to get off the voter rolls. So what? The same is true for people who move. How many of you, when you moved, notified your former residence voter registrar of your move? How many of you when your grandmother died immediately called the registrar of voters to report the death. No one does this. This doesn't signify fraud and it isn't a problem unless someone impersonates someone else to vote in their place.

The issue here, and it's a common one, is that counties are slow in terms of purging voters who have moved or have died from their rolls. I don't see the big scandal here. Do they need to tighten up and do a better job purging rolls? Sure. But I don't see massive numbers of people voting twice.
The biggest issue with voter fraud, IMO, is regarding voter ID at the polls...including letting non-citizens vote...as well as voter intimidation. That's where I would like to see the bulk of the attention focused.

What if these dead people are some how voting in elections? That would make it a big deal. There's been allegations of the dead voting in elections for decades, and here's the liability.

Why does Trump wanna suppress 130 year old voters?!

Sure it would but do you see the obvious problem with this "what if?" Someone would have to know that a particular registered voter has died. Then that someone would have to go to a neighborhood polling place and claim to be the person who died. I know in my polling place, that table of old folks know who most people are. Last time I voted a lady at the table talked about who lived in my house 40 years ago. Then in order for this scheme to make any difference, you would have to identity impersonate thousands of people at their local polling places.
The fantasy of voter fraud changing election outcomes is divorced from the realities of voting in America.

This is why voter registration needs to go.
I mean how hard is this to grasp.
You show up at your polling place, you show your ID, if you are in the polling place that is correct for the ID you presented and you haven't already voted, you vote. If not you hit the trail.
Completely eliminates voter registration, completely negates the need to scrub rolls.
Voter registration is an antiquated method vote control from a pre computer era that is no longer necessary.
A high school student with a decent understanding of Microsoft Access could create a database that could be used to keep track of and make sure no ID was used to vote more than once. The simple fact that the ID wouldn't be accepted anywhere but the precinct that corresponds to the address on the ID would ensure that people weren't voting out of their precinct.
To those who claim some people just can't get IDs. time to man up and tell them people to just shut the frick up, there is no one in this country who can't obtain an ID.

Anecdotally, I know 3 voters over 100 in south florida. I don't know if they live in broward county though.
And my grandmother (who just died @ 98) live in central florida.
Florida has a lot of old people. Although those over 130 likely don't exist.

The real risk to the integrity of voting in America is hacking into the computerized machines or vote counting software or voter roll databases. That is where one could make a meaningful change in the outcome. That's why there is so much at stake in the hacking issues.

Apparently both of our questions are "what if". You do not know if these deceased voters are not being taken advantage of either, which is why there is currently a law suit taking place against the county.
Voter rolls need to be checked annually for situations such as these. People who've died and left the area. That would reduce the number by a large amount.

And then there are... Double Voters
They claim to have examined all of the voter databases in twenty (20) states, and all they found was a possibility of 8,400 double voters. That isn't enough to make any difference in one single statewide election, let alone twenty (20) states.

I would not assume that elderly people = democrats. If there are old people on the rolls in Florida, I would assume a higher number of republican voters.
Voter rolls need to be kept clean, no doubt about it. But the idea that someone is driving around impersonating a 130 year old person to vote in their place is a bit of a stretch.

It should be easy to cross reference death certificates against voter registration and scrub the system in real time. Vital statistics have been mandatory government records for nearly 50 years. There is no excuse for this kind of thing.
Dems block it so they can continue to cheat.
