I once read somewhere actual real flat earthers are rare like a handful of thousands, with most IPs going back to just trolls or alts. Besides the occasional rich twit there's no inherit legitimacy. I don't know how true that is. But trolls are active and bored enough that I'd rather believe they make up a significant portion of this than people really believing it.
