For those of you laughing at the idea of leslie being good at ole miss

You laugh at the idea that he will learn from his mistakes at LSU and be a positive force at Ole Miss.
Yet you just take Orgeron at his word when he assures you he has learned from his mistakes at OM and be a positive force at LSU.
Why the double standard?

Nope. Some of us are very logical. Les will not "learn" anything and O is likely to be mediocre at best.

My very short answer would be how Orgeron did at USC 6-2 and Lsu 6-2 after taking over.

I don't think anyone will be successful at Ole Miss with the sanctions they're going to get. They'll have a large amount of scholarships taken away and who knows how many years of being banned from bowls. Their talent level is going to be horrendously bad.

Yeah as part of that 6-2, he lost to a 14 point underdog, at home, with the Sugar Bowl on the line. So what's your point?
Having a couple of decent, not great, stints as an interim coach with highly talented teams does not mean he's ready to lead a program over multiple years.

Les had five, count em, one, two, three, four, five years to come up with a new offense. He was inept, don't know why it'd be any different at Ole Miss. He's not a good coach. The jury is still out on Orgeron. Maybe he'll be good, maybe he won't.

The man is 22-29 as a head coach
Eta: when does the jury make their decision?

Lsu was in position to win that game . Did Orgeron do something in the Florida game that you feel hurt Lsu's chances? That's chickenshit!!!
My point since you asked is that he handled two pretty tough jobs very well. He has stated that he tried to control everything when he was at Ole Miss. Now he said he has learned to better delegate and trust his coaches to do their jobs. Did Miles trust his coaches to coach?
Pretty obvious to me that he has grown as a coach. Esminger was able to raise our offensive production under Orgeron. How do you think Esminger's offense would have looked under Miles??

Les isn't a good coach, but the jury is still out on Orgeron? Les had the best tenure ever at LSU, so does that mean we've never had a good coach?

It makes zero sense.

We really need for the season to start. This site has become untenable

Well, he apparently didn't have the team focused, considering what was on the line, and since we're now blaming players for losses instead of the HC.

They aren't going to hire him.
The rant is going to suck until this stupid rumor goes away.

I believe some people and my others.
Les has as close to a come to Jesus moment in 2015 as anyone
And not only did he double down on his offense he decided to run it with an injured running back.
O would do anything for a job. Les won't even get out of his own way.

Not sure if my sarcasm meter is broken , but I've seen a million different things that I could post about Miles that directly led to Lsu losing games.
Maybe I had too much to drink for the Florida game but I don't remember Orgeron doing anything that led to that loss. I know we had some bad breaks and apparently Guice hit the wrong gap on the last play (not saying that guaranteed a score) but what did Orgeron do wrong?

Did we lose the game because some players made uncharacteristic mistakes?
