GingerKittie, a few observations I have made for what they are worth.
1. Nanettes death was 6 months to the day of FIL’s death.
2. Drone pictures of fire scene look more like a science fiction bomb scene.
3. No way in heck a fire chief could buy for one second that this was a normal house fire when it was obviously a darned implosion.
4. He is casting doubt on Nan’s character in a very subtle way by implying she lied by omission regarding her plans to go to Slidell on the day of her death.
5. Her birthday was coming up, he could have used this to cause her to let a stranger in some kind of way or caused her to make the trip to Slidell based on a birthday ruse.

I am so glad that people are questioning and sharing info on this case. It is beyond ridiculous that it has gone on this long without any answers for those that loved Nan.

Crime Watch Daily recently did a 4 part series on the case. Here are the links to the 4 parts (each only a few minutes long).

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

LINK

ETA: corrected link. Thanks Yurintroubl for catching that

That kind of national attention is what’s going to lead to his arrest. They can’t cover it up anymore now that the state and Feds are looking into it. He obviously played a part in it. He better enjoy these moments of freedom because they’re going to be his last.

Thanks so much for catching my error.

There is so much info in these videos. Some of this I lkinda already knew but could not call out people publicly on their BS since my family has ties to the Krentels plus I don't want to "out" myself on here by giving to many details of why I know so much and why I care about this case so much.

And now that crimewatchers has already revealed it... Yes Justin (Steve's son by his first wife) was also someone feared as per her own words that she messaged to a friend about her fear of Bryan and Justin.

He was cheating on his first wife when he met Nanette. He put the first wife thru hell. He is a POS in every way, shape and form.

I don't think I've ever seen somebody end up with their foot in a boot from dropping a can of wasp spray on it.

yep, his day is definitely coming and when it does, he is going down hard. Even if the parish/state prosecution somehow fumbles this or he is charged or is somehow acquitted the FEDS can step in.

If he did this then he must have also violated feds and the feds will go after him for insurance fraud, something to do with embezzling or whatever else he did.

I don't get how people in St Tammany are just sitting back while the murder rate sky rockets up there.

Shhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! it might hurt everyone's property value. That's worse than a few people getting killed or drug dealing

I live in St. Tammany and Krentel is officially NOT a suspect.....how he's not is beyond me. She lived back in Lacombe, you just don't get marauding sociopathic/ psychopathic killers roaming around in that area that are setting fires after the deed

I thought they said a can of paint but even that doesn't make sense. It sounds like there are so many little clues and facts here that the investigators should be sewing up into an airtight case.

I am glad the other details have come out.

Nan DID see someone lurking in her yard and took a pic.

Interestingly all of the security footage from the house system (which was extensive due to Steve's dad being in that business) was all destroyed in the fire.

I am also glad that Nan documented her fears of Bryan and Justin. You heard how easily Bryan lies when he says he loved her and never threatened her or had a cross word with her.

And supposedly Steven hasn't talked to Bryan or asked him about anything at all about Nan's death. Really? Oh tell me another lie

Oh and the fact that Nan stopped communicating and answering people the night BEFORE the fire. her family/friends sasy she was likely killed the day before the fire. The police say Nans car is on video driving around 2 o;clock on the day of the fire (but they can't identify the driver of the car at ALL).

I wonder when Steve says the last time he saw/talked to Nan was?

But did you see in the video where they were interviewing Randy Smith or some other St Tam LEO and he said something like Steven is not a suspect at this time but that could change in the future?

I was like "WTF"

i am just so pissed by the St Tam LEOs being so uninterested in the case. This is one of the worst murders in St Tams history. If they don't believe steve or bryan is a suspect then why are they not worried about the killer on the loose?

This case has intrigued me since it as first reported.

A few questions:

It is said that the fire was reported a little bit after 2:30 in the afternoon and that there is video of her car being used about 2:00pm .....Was this video shot in Slidell?

Lacombe is approximately 10 minutes from Northshore Blvd in Slidell 10 minutes from the light to the Lacombe traffic circle on 190, on a good day. How far was her home from 190?

If you can answer the first two, I have a few others.

Is the general consensus that he got his brother to kill her?

Never mind I remember the video saying the brother had an air tight alibi. So does everyone think the husband hired a hitman?

Hubby and his brother both passed a lie detector test. I did not know this. I also don't know what questions they were asked so cannot guess if he hired a hitman.

Who is the old Gomer hanging around her garbage cans in the video?

I don't think you've been in St Tammany very long.

What makes you think they aren't worried?

Just playing a little devil's advocate here. I personally think he hired someone to murder her, but the keys are you have to build a case. You can't convict anyone on what YOU think.

I'd rather they build a case quietly and then bam serve the dude when it's a slam dunk.

Also, maybe he just hired some dude from out of town. I think it would be pretty important to find that person before anything.

That aspect puzzles me a bit too. I have question, too. The house was reported to be fully engulfed when the first responders got there. So I wonder HOW LONG was that fire burning?

It has been said that whoever did this knew what they were doing with fire to have the house so completely destroyed.

Someone with that skill with fire can also make a fire start HOURS before it is finally seen by someone and reported.

I dont know how far the Krentel house was from the place her car was supposed to have been on video.

So far I'm extremely disappointed with sheriff Smith. He seems either inept or corrupt.
