Just seems to be a big cluster for Trump, why did he agree to go with the special prosecutor and not just let the Rep controlled Senate or House committees complete their investigation into the matter. Seems like he gave up all control by allowing Mueller to take over, now who knows how long it will take or what things they will try to pin on Trump or his Administration. I don't mind finding out the truth if there was collusion but not ok with the opposition fishing for anything to say was wrong just to keep supplying fake news and allegations against Trump and this Administration.

I think Trump should give them a timeline, end date and have them stick to the original investigation of Russian collusion.

I think it was an attempt at some transparency but Mueller is part of the swamp and was the wrong pick.

I think this liberal fantasy that Mueller will investigate every tiny aspect of Trump's entire life after the FBI didn't find it necessary to investigate Trump personally at all needs to be reigned in. Its fueling a ton of fake news and much like the Comey hearing, some clarity on this point can get the media somewhat back in line.

This has never been about Russian "collusion" it's all about a way to get hold of Trump's tax returns .

It's Oppo Research being paid for by you and me under the guise of some sort of legal b.s. and faux concern for the security of the country and the integrity of the voting process

Thus far nothing Trump or his organizations have done in business is even remotely illegal.

Jr.'s meeting was ill advised. But not particularly illegal.

Trump has made many political mistakes that indicate to me that he originally had no idea just how ideologically driven the others really are. He has made many political mistakes because he has no sense of political self-preservation.

I believe that he has gotten bad political advice from some GOP "advisers" who have given him some bad advice on purpose to help de-rail this Reformist Outsider.

Mueller's report will be focused on politically damaging Trump to the maximum extent possible. Whether or not Trump can survive the coming blast and attain re-election is not certain at this time.

But of this be certain -- the Swamp is out to destroy the Outsider Reformer. AND, if you want a portrait of a gaggle of Swamp-Dwellers, gather Mueller and his entire staff of 100 Democrat lawyers and take a photo.

Bad enough re the Meuller/Comey connection. Hiring all those Hillary Lawyers pretty much put the last nail in the legitimacy coffin. Apparently the guy ain't that smart at all; more like power drunk.

Trump Nation runs this Show.

So, to clarify, you don't believe there is any chance whatsoever that Trump did anything wrong or illegal and further any evidence presented to the contrary must have been manufactured by the swamp?

I think trump should fire Sessions and rosenstein. Trump should then hire a new DOJ that will hire a special counsel to investigate Rosenstein and Mueller.

The ensuing activity would be hilarious all the way around.

Trump's biggest problem is that he just won't shut up. Almost every bit of this has been self-inflicted.

There has yet to be any evidence put forth of collusion.

Actually, it can work this way. Trump fires Rosenstein , elevates the Associate AG as interim and then directs the AAG to inform Mueller that he needs to confine his investigation solely to events surrounding the possible Russian interference in terms of the e-mail hacking DURING the campaign ....and possible obstruction in terms of the Comey firing. It could be done.

Wait for Mueller to balk and then fire his aged Lurch arse and send him off with a fly reel and an all expenses paid trip to Wyoming to do some fishing with custom tied flies

Don't forget that Trump spent a huge part of his life as a Dem and still has many Dem friends. I think part of his mistake is that he wasn't aware of the political game and how it's played. And two, he might have felt that if he let them appoint a SP, they'd allow him to move on to the business at hand?

i mean yeah he could do that but that's pretty Nixonish and would only fuel the belief that Trump is covering his tracks

You have to put it aside because it doesn't exist.
