Trump Is Galvanizing His Original Support

To put it simply, he cannot force the vote of the Senate republicans. Trump's base realizes this and the media/DEM/GOP finger pointing and blaming of Trump will not resonate.
There has never been a President more maligned by the media, and there has rarely been a president so failed by his own party in Congress.
Even still, his base is present, supportive and cognizant of what is really going on.
The GOP congress' continued failure actually further reaffirms why he was nominated and elected in the first place.
What a sad state of affairs though. The losers are the citizens of a once great nation.

Hopefully this will result in better GOP Senators in some places.
The failure of the GOPe is disgraceful, but completely expected if you've paid attention the past decade.

Trump can't sign what's not in front of him. A phone and pen doesn't work, you need bills from Congress to sign.

It's time to put repeal to a vote and force all the cucks to out themselves

They still seem to be fighting the populist groundswell that made Sanders and Trump popular. IMO it's Trump's party now.

I agree, but that will not happen.
Sadly, Trump was a lame duck through no fault of his own the day he set foot in the WH...the party controlling Congress did not matter.

Jimmy Carter and his Georgia boys as I recall were not very well received by the ruling DC democrats either.

Possibly, the GOPe may not realize that until a cool November morning though.

got your head so far up Donald's arse you can't see that the reason Republicans are "failing" him is because he isn't a real Republican.

GOPe/Dem incompetence just started recently?

I will say the same thing I said about Obama when his interaction with the DNC congress was clearly not one of leadership.
I love Trump, but this is a failure of leadership. He has started from an adversarial position to the GOP from the start, but this was still an issue he championed, and needed his leadership to pass. The fact that Mitch McConnell is a complete failure as a leader is beside the point.
Yes, Trump has a hundred other things to do besides shepherd legislation through the Senate, so its ridiculous to expect him to spend all of his time, or even a majority of time working on a single bill. That's honestly the job of McConnell and to a lesser extent, Pence. Note well, TruCons who are pining for Pence to be the President: failure in the Senate is failure on the part of the President of the Senate, too.
Trump is good at a lot of things, but his hostile takeover of the GOP has given certain liberal republican senators ample room to comfortably ignore him and basically act as members of the DNC.

So? If his base is all he has in 2020, he won't even sniff the White House.

I could write a post too long to read, D, naming Trump's Policy advancements in comparison to ANY other POTUS elected in the Republican Stable. From go-along-to-get-along RINOS, and not to mention Hillary. It is a 180 degree turn going on below the Media radar; the Dems know it...therein the 'muh Russia'/Impeach Trump card...only play they have.
Just like a glacier...inch by inch...moving forward.

Maybe "Draining the Swamp" is something so simple that people completely missed it.
Trump supports issues that can't pass our inept congress. Draining the swamp occurs by default when Trumps supporters recognize those who will not help Trump accomplish his goals and vote them out.
Badaboom swamp drained.
