actually the best part is her first try at the sunday news magazine show where she built up her showdown with trump and then sucked his dick in the shortest, most pathetic interview of all time.
hysterical.
hysterical.

Maybe he an create a new segment for her "Legally Blonde." Megyn can have 30 seconds once each week to share her current thoughts on everything from being a non-practicing attorney to being a non-practicing journalist. It'll be fascinating.

So men are still mad at that? Why?
Posted on 7/17/17 at 2:47 pm to Sugarloaf
they're not really mad at all, just enjoying the cosmic justice.

Trumpkins are pathetic in so many ways, but I think one of the saddest aspects about them is their obsession with old media and media personalities. It's bizarre.
Posted on 7/17/17 at 3:02 pm to DelU249
Justice for what'? It doesn't sound like she really did anything, certainly not as bad as what Trump says. If what Trump says is kosher, isn't what Megyn says cool too?

I would wager a lot of people who did watch her never watch NBC, so they never saw any ads, and they did not care enough to put any effort into finding her.
Let's not exaggerate. A lot of Fox viewers when not watching Fox are watching America's Got Talent and that Game SHow where the ball falls down the wall. People on this board are far more hyperpartisan than Joe Blow who watches Fox News but also loves Chicago Fire on NBC.

I can't believe she's 47.

for a breach of journalistic standards with which people are fed up and sick of activism and self promotion disguised as "journalism" why do you think the media is so unpopular?
quote:
It doesn't sound like she really did anything,
she hijacked a debate. nothing discussed from that point forward would get any attention. not policy, not anything. And it was the first question out of the gate after an awkward "will all the candidates pledge" moment for all the candidates but really aimed at trump.
journalists should not have an agenda. like for instance...let's take trump down. they profess certain standards and ethics and swear to us they're being met while flaunting activism and political hackery in our faces.
no one cares what trump says, he's a candidate. ask him a question with the intent to learn something from him or about him, not to sink him and then certainly don't turn around and act like it's journalism. trump at that point wasn't really the force he is now. lot of other candidates with their followers anxious to see him go down and even still fox's debate rubbed them the wrong way and was seen for exactly what it was...an attempt to take a candidate out.

I've never seen anyone so spectacularly miscalculate in such a short period of time.
Whomever her agent is either had no power to persuade her or, should never get another client again.

Let's not exaggerate
Chicago fire averages less that 7 million viewers in a country of 320 million.
Huge can't understand why they aren't watching Kelly in droves, probably at least 2 dozen avid Kelly and Chicago fire viewers
Liberals suck at math too I guess

it's more than just fox news being a brand burned on her and turning off the hardcore prog viewers
she bet on her talent. the problem is, she has none. the show is terrible. I love dateline type shows and her show flat out sucks.

This really does beyond left/right.
How the frick does ANYONE in the talking head profession think that their primary reason for making their salaries is "talent"?
quote:Even if she did.....honestly, it's sort of irrelevant. If there is a segment of the news where "talent" is the primary career driver, it ain't in front of the camera.
the problem is, she has none
quote:Never seen it
the show is terrible
The bottom line is, most people in the talking head profession get where they are because of one or more of the below
1. Looks
2. A particular angle that resonates
3. Speaking ability(as in, well spoken, not great speeches)
The reality is, #2 is barely necessary if one has a lot of #1 and #3.
If one happens to have talent, that's basically happenstance and the viewers really don't give a frick.

And Fox News averaged 2.5 million voters in all of 2016 in all of prime-time (from what I understand the numbers are added up for each show for the tally).
Not sure what your point is.
That only 2 percent of America watch Chicago Fire (solid show IMO) and only 1 percent of America watch Fox News?
Sidebar - I have always thought both radio and tv ratings were suspiciously low. Fox is the most watched Cable channel last year. Popular Prime Time shows get ratings like Chicago Fire does, maybe huge hits like NCIS get 30% more. When you add it all up it's like only 20 percent or so of America watches any nights tv showings.
I have no proof, just a guess, that something is off in the calculations. Yes I am not including the small cable networks for now, too lazy to look them all up. And I know ESPN has viewers around the size of the cable news. So maybe the number isn't 20 percent but a tad more. But still it seems that for a country that has a reputation for being addicted to the "boob toob", most people seem to be doing something else.
