yeah... rough match for our two FBs... Both of them were rusty and it showed... Phillips is a fricking handful and got the best of Moreno most of the day.. Gomez with just some stupid mistakes..

Lovren came on and looked like garbage...

Ox was a bright spot as a sub... lively.. assist for Mo..

Yep, gotta build some nice depth this summer in addition to adding those one or two starters...

Now time to get excited about Tuesday.

By the way, West Brom should have only been playing with 10 men for the last 20-25 minutes anyway.

On top of the fact of a clear foul on Ings in the box in the first half.

I’m glad that West Brom will be relegated and I hope they never come back up. That curse can remain in the Championship or lower forever IMO.

Pretty uninspiring performance but don’t think it should impact how we come into Tuesday. Seemed similar to the Everton match except that West Brom actually pushed forward

Happy for Ings and great for Salah to bag another one though

It really showed what the back line of TAA, Robbo, Loven , VVD have meant. We Know what we need for next year but the season is now!! But being 2-0 up at WBA with 18 minutes left is the fricking titanic no matter who is on the pitch. We need to shrug this off though in a hurry, ust not the best way to go into Roma.

Just reaffirms where the issues were rooted today...

quote:

Three of LFC's back four were changed today. Moreno last started a game on March 6. Gomez on March 17. In the previous 12 games (including two against the best team in the country!!!) - eight clean sheets and just five conceded.

Absolutely, a ton of rust on those tires and it showed.

The good need is we are 3 and GD up on Spurs and 7 and GD up on Chelsea with Spurs in between. Both have games in hand but we should be able to navigate our CL run to #6 without sweating a Top 4 too much.

I maintain what I said a week ago. Just gotta take care of business at home and all will be good

Now I’m nervous as hell looking to Tuesday. We looked way too rusty today and Roma took care of business with some changes as well.

Yes sir, we should be good and rested for Tuesday. We are in great shape for a Top 3 finish so no stress there. It's all in front of us gentlemen and it begins Tuesday.

Harry Wilson with 2 goals today and I've seen some people say he could be Hull's player of the season even though he's only been there since January. Could be part of the answer for our lack of winger depth

He may not be the only youngster that spells depth in next years squad.

Yeah, our starting back line was basically all rested today minus VVD... We'll be okay on Tuesday

Joe's was definitely rust, but Albie was doing typically well-known Albie things, so not so sure about him.

Poor Albie, what a fricking roller coaster this season has been. But it’s time for a new start somewhere else.

I think he's been pretty good this season, except a couple of matches... But I agree, prom time to move him on... bring in Sessegnon...

with him im and TAA in the squad... thats the FB spot locked down with two potential WC teenagers...
