Damn, Burnley didn't help us out today, if they had drawn Chelsea a win tomorrow would have essentially locked up a top 4 spot for us... Still a win tomorrow would mean Chelsea would have to win out to have a chance to knock us out of the top 4 if I'm doing math right (technically they could draw once and tie us on points, but we're 19 to the good on GD)... Obviously we play them, so we could put an end to that

Before today we needed 5 points I think.

So basically we still need 5 points from 4 games.

(5 points give us 75 which is Chelsea's max if they win out and our GD right now is 43 and Chelsea's 25. Any dropped points by Chelsea between now and season's end subtracts from the 5.)

We said the same thing in different ways

But yeah, two wins out of 4 and we're golden, assuming Chelsea win out... So who bet on us being likely to clinch top 4 AND two matches away from a Champions League final this season?

Klopps choice: Would you take a Champions league trophy and a fifth place league finish? I vote yes

Wouldn't winning it automatically qualify you for the next season's UCL?

If so (even if not), I vote yes too!!

With Spurs now at 34 GP with us and still 2 points behind us I am starting to feel really good about finishing top 3. I hate it when teams have matches in hand, now that we are all at 34 we are sitting in a great spot, hell United just lost at home to the worst team in the league let's talk about maybe catching them!!

Well yeah, because we'd auto qualify for UCL with the Champion's League win, that's a no brainer.

But we're basically guaranteed top 4 at this point unless the wheels completely fall off

So Moreno and Ings get a run out which I’m fine with.

Klavan in for Dejan, so VVD slides to the right which should be... interesting to observe.

And young Joe in for young TAA which I missed at first glance.

Yep, not surprised by this line up honestly... Would love to see a few first half goals so we can get Salah and Mane off early

Beyond happy for zings. He has worked his arse off for that goal after the tough road he has faced. He is always going to be a favorite of mine if only for that fact alone. The man’s determination is unwavering.

ETA: So “Zings” was an autocorrect, but I’m not above adopting that as his TD SB nickname.

Yeah, well at least we only spent £8M on our starting LB... I'm not even sure we could spend that little for a new back up LB if we wanted to replace Moreno
