Is ATT the worst company to deal with ?

They installed a temp line on new construction- it took 8 months to get them to come back and bury a permanent line. 100 percent due to the fact that no one on the receiving end of our phone calls could understand what we were asking. So the bury the new line, but "another tech will hook it up". So nobody comes to hook up new line- and I just spent two hours on the phone doing troubleshooting and having them try to sell me a new modem. I told them internet not working because the damn line is laying on the ground! (I understand sir but we must go through this troubleshooting procedure). etc etc
Our cable-phone-internet options in this country are the biggest rip off ever seen.

I hate dealing with ATT. However I have fiber to the home with 1gig up and down and it's awesome. Also very little outages.

Yes AT&T sucks. Some guy in The Philippines was going through the procedure he had been taught.
When Uverse was available in Dallas, I got it. I already had their internet and home phone service. A week later my phone quit working. When I called them about it on my Sprint cell, the first thing they did was try to sell me their cellular plan.
Then they gave me another number and I got the Philippines guy who started out having me check lights on the modem. We cut off a bunch of different things involving the modem and cable boxes, I hung up and waited 30 minutes for him to call me back. Now I had no phone, internet or Uverse.
After two more calls where he had me disconnect and reconnect several things, he called me back one last time. He had gotten out of their handbook training, talked to their billing people and found out they cut off my phone because I never paid a separate bill they had mailed. They couldn't bill them together, but no one told me. They actually had told me it would all be together. I paid a monthly bill for more than what the Uverse charge was supposed to be thinking it was everything. The Philippines guy gave me a number to call and pay The bill, I did that and everything was fine.
The Philippines guy was very nice. He knew I had gotten pretty mad about the whole thing, but I knew it wasn't his fault. That last call he used to try to get me to move to The Philippines. He said the cost of living was low and their women love American men. I no longer live in Dallas or have any AT&T services, but I didn't move to The Philippines.

I'm have paying for a house phone number that has worked for maybe two months out of 12 since ive been here. I just gave up. If rather pay 25 a month and know what doesn't work then to have them fix it and the internet or satilate go out

spent 1 hour 35 minutes on phone with "them" yesterday. Just for them to troubleshoot my DSL. Never been transferred so much in my life. Terrible, terrible, terrible. finally they decided it was the outsside line and sending a technician out

I had more issues with Cox than att. But where I live now I have charter, and it took them 6 months to come bury the line in my yard.
